Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 in 1983. Maggie Grace is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. She was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of high school after her parents divorced to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. While struggling financially she landed her first part as Rachel's Room's main character the video on-demand series Rachel's Room in the year 2001. She went on to earn an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder set in Greenwich. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost where she was the main character for the initial two seasons winning an Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace left the show in order to pursue a professional film work. She had starred alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog earlier in the year 2005. She appeared as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) as Suburban Girl and the Jane Austen Book Club. The actress reprised her character for Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version to the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was back on the Lost series for the last two episodes, playing Shannon. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the 6th season. She portrays Faith, who is the muse and fan of the stars. Hank Moody as played by David Duchovny falls in love with her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She belongs to the Gyllenhaal clan as well as the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. She began her career as a teenager with small parts in a few of the films of her father and starred alongside her brother in the cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). The next film she appeared in was Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind both in 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received acclaim from critics for her performance in the romantic erotic comedy Secretary (2002) as well as the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) both of which brought her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Following several commercially-successful films, such as World Trade Center in 2006 her name was recognized more widely when she played Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). For her performance as an unmarried mother, in Crazy Heart (2009) she got a nomination in the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The following years, she starred in comedies as well as dramatic movies: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Other roles she has played include a Secret Service agent in the action-thriller White House Down (2013) and a musician in Frank (2014) as well as the title role in the film The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal's first film as a writer and director took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psychological thriller for which she received an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. The film also was awarded the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
