Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional and old boleros, and classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense training in vocals at age 16, under the direction of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving from Mexico to America around 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties singing the traditional Latin American Music. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her love and love for music. Ana is also a past member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able to share with others her passion for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations to preserve the traditions.
